As of 21st April 2015 onwards, Google has announced that websites that are not mobile friendly will be severely penalised in terms of search ranking. It is no surprise they made this move since 77% of users do their search on their mobile devices, whether at home or work, and likely to have a desktop near them. This strategy simply means that if your website is not mobile-optimised, your site will experience a significant drop in the SERPs. This update outranks both Panda and Penguin in terms of its scale of impact on search results. The criteria is just one; whether your website, blogs and webpages is optimised for mobile.
That’s Not All…
Do you know what happens when a customer visits your website on their mobile device?
If your site currently looks anything like the example above or it’s just plain unfriendly and difficult to navigate on a mobile device, there’s some terribly bad news for you.
